Since the advent of the Industrial Revolution hundreds of millions of people in developed nations have enjoyed levels of prosperity unprecedented throughout recorded history. But disturbing reports from the IPPC on the havoc climate change might play on societies pushed to the edge of castastrophy begs the question: Can industrialized nations change their ways in enough time to avert a global disaster.
