Ron Coronado was a retired monkey wrencher known for giving a fiery speech or two about his extreme tactics to protect wildlife. Shortly after a speaking engagement in San Diego four years ago, a new housing development on the edge of a canyon was torched causing millions of dollars in damage. Bringing down the wrath of the Feds and a whole lot of scrutiny from state and local authorities. Now he's facing 18 years in prison for execercising his free speech rights for allegedly sponsoring "eco-terrorism" under the Homeland Security guidelines. ( LA City Beat)
