Drug fueled and paranoid Philip K. Dick has been a cult favorite among sci-fans and film goers for his ability to fuse dystopian future societies with subversive social commentary. Produced much of his best work under a meth psychosis fearing the Man would be busting down his door to sieze his typewriter. He might find it ironic that his work is being cannonized by the Library of America, reissuing four of his novels in a cloth-bound, hard-covered format. ( IHT)
