The Black Swan sounds like a promising title for a swashbuckling pirate saga. Johnny Depp is nowhere in sight. But the financial analyst and investor Nassin N. Taleb offers a contraian look at the meaning of success and the tendency mistaking skill with luck. A phenomena which leads to making all sorts of false assumptions about the nature of reality, from the color of swans to accurate predictions of financial markets. ( Salon)
