iPod iChing - Einstein and Beyond!

Hot Friday, and I just deleted this post by accident...

Oh, mighty iPod One, the committee has reached a conclusion and filed a report.
What is in store for Beyond Einstein?

  • The Covering: Twenty Four Hours - Joy Division
  • The Crossing: Búkalú - Stuðmenn
  • The Crown: Vorið Góða Gr&aelig:nt og Hlýtt
  • The Root: Late Night, Maudlin Street - Morrissey
  • The Past: A La Volette - Sien Diels
  • The Future: Get Your Hands off My Woman - Darkness
  • The Questioner: Fljúga Hvíu Fiðrildin
  • The House: It Says Here (Alternate Version) - Billy Bragg
  • The Inside: Mansion on the Hill - Crooked Fingers
  • The Outcome: Gamli Nói/Allir Krakkar/Litli Dóri

Hm, the Covering and Root are downers.
The Crossing is a cheerful ditty on how hard it is to be trendy.
The Crown is an oder to a Good Spring.
The Past is a merry song of a wounded bird an death.
The Future - says it all...!
The Questioner - is "fly the white butterflies" - a child's vision which is actually a ship coming to harbour.
The House is a cynical riff on bureaucracy and arbitary rules. Yes, nailed it!
The Inside is another downer.
The Outcome is a series of short kids songs, starting with "Old Noah", who is drunk and drives a boxcar, but all is well as long as you keep the faith. All the kids are playing trolls - can I play too? And the little kid who wants to go sleep in a manger.

As always, the Key as explained by Sean

It says here that the Unions will never learn
It says here that the economy is on the upturn
And it says here we should be proud
That we are free
And our free press reflects our democracy
