Via Lubos (sorry: I was looking for rumours of him leaving) I find some interesting stuff re the temperature record it China.
My saner readers, I'm sure, aren't in the habit of reading Lubos; and indeed neither am I; so we have Ken Brook to thank for drawing Peer-reviewed global cooling to my attention.
I assume this is all mostly a matter of stupidity and mischief making rather than any concerted attack, but the 1971 R+S science paper makes an unexpected comeback.
