Speaking of books, thanks for the reccomendations/comments on the pile of stuff I'm ripping my way through. I loved G.G. Simpson's fiction, and I should finish A Primate's Memoir tomorrow (it has fast become one of my favorite books) before diving into the more technical paleontology stuff by Romer (unless, of course, the cheesy Fatalis shows up first).
My copy of the book just arrived in the mail. This answers my question of what to read in SF (at least until Harry Potter VII comes out...).
