Wildlife of Serbia

Wild-Serbia.com looks like an excellent site:

Wild-Serbia.com represents the largest on-line wildlife photo collection from Serbia. All photos on this site are made according [to] wildlife code of ethics.

The basic aim of this site is to illustrate Serbian wildlife and biodiversity, current needs for nature conservation as well as possibilities for sustainable development of tourism.

Wild-Serbia is not only the excellent site, Bora, it is the result of the hard work of many fantastic people working hard on getting Serbia back in Europe. Milan Ruzic and Katarina Paunovic are the brains behind, but they have incredible support in Josif Pancic club of biology students from Novi Sad, and many, many other enthusiasts from all over the country. Kata is incredibly talented photographer, and animal lover, and Milan is just regular "crazy" Serb ;-)
Milan managed to bring into reality sponsorship from the companies unrelated to science and nature protection, to fund project such as Long-eared Owl winter roost survey and other similar projects. Incredible energy and dedication, and finally site that can present Serbia in all it's beauty! I envy them on the amount of time spent in nature surveying and photographing.
My warmest recommendations!

Thank you so much for this great comments. Yes, Wild-Serbia is the work of love and knowledge, lots of time spent in nature with true friends. It's also a bit of help to change the unrealistic bad image of Serbia as a country.

Katarina and I are showing the untamed beauty and inviting people to come over. Feedback is visible and we'll do our best to continue with the good job.
