Some of you might already be aware of this, but whenever you click on one of the books I have in the "currently reading" section of this blog, my ridiculously-massive wishlist, or any other link to amazon.com and then buy something, I receive between 4% to 6% of the price of that sale. It doesn't cost you anything (so don't worry), but as a result I've been able to accumulate a fair amount of credit with amazon.com to further add to my bookshelves. In fact, I was able to acquire Carnivorous Nights, Schaller's classic The Serengeti Lion, and (a true bargain) a 1st edition copy of Francis Buckland's Curiosities of Natural History free of charge, so by purchasing items from amazon.com through links from this blog you're directly helping my self-education and the generation of new and interesting content here. I definitely appreciate those of you who have helped me in this way, and I would continue to encourage you to keep on doing so in the future.
Thanks
These days I am swallowing one good science book after another. 2010 seems to be a great year for science book publishing!
The second science blogging anthology, the Open Laboratory 2007 is now up for sale on Amazon.com.
Last month I detailed how Lott posted at least six and probably ten five-star reviews of his books to Amazon.com. Well, it may be that Lott isn't the only conservative author who does this.
Apparently, authors have been using reviews at Amazon.com to anonymously praise their own books and pan rival books.
Good to know. I'll make use of that for my next Amazon purchase.
hey. How did you set that up, Brian?
email me.
