Awesome Site on the Cochlea and Hearing

Bob Abu sent me this really amazing website on inner ear biology and morphology. Its got some really impressive SEM pictures and very informative descriptions of the anatomy of the cochlea. I'd suggest checking it out.

The cochlea is the snail-shaped organ that mammals use to perceive and transduce sound, and is located deep in the inner ear.

If you read the 'About' page, or anything about me, you probably noticed that I work on hair cell regeneration in the cochlea. But, perhaps, some readers are not familiar with the machinations of the inner ear.
Many of my SciBlings have been doing posts on "basic concepts" in their fields of expertise.

The links section has some excellent national and international connections, although the first and last site were not found at the time I searched.

Northwestern is a link, why not UM?
