It's a little disturbing that I know what this means. Not from personal experience,thank goodness, but from a show I saw on the Discovery Channel about an expedition to the Amazon River that was conducted to film aquatic species not yet seen by humans. While diving in the murky water, the scientists and photographers were taking great care to avoid contact with the Candirú (Vandellia cirrhosa).
