McCain: Kids are better off parentless than in gay households

Via ThinkProgress:

Q: President Bush believes that gay couples should not be permitted to adopt children. Do you agree with that?

Mr. McCain: I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no I don’t believe in gay adoption.

Only Florida currently bans adoption by all same sex couples. There are about 65,000 children who have been adopted by gay or lesbian couples nationwide, and I doubt any of them would have preferred to float through the foster care system.

Mr. McCain: I think that we've proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no I don't believe in gay adoption.

Are two bone-smokers or two taco-eaters TWO FRAKKIN' PARENTS or not?!?!?

Or did the shell-shocked suck-hole mean two parents who are one-man-one-woman-no-matter-how-miserable-and-unhappy-they-may-be-together-thus-not-good-familial-and-parental-role-models?

What a complete tool. WTF is my Maker's Mark?

As the child of a single parent, dating the child of a single parent, i have to wonder what his plan is for future children of single parents?

Money where mouth is, etc....

I 100% agree with John McCain!

Adoptive children of gay parents are playground hamburger.
That has to be a great way to grow up!
To avoid this the gay parents will need school vouchers so they can send the kids to Lalaland schools where everybody is a winner every day!

Russ; Good for you. What America needs most is less children in happy homes.

DaPrez; You just used one of the same arguments that was used when anti-miscegenation statutes were being overturned. Kudos!
