Ed Yong Has A New Fanboi?

So the word on the street is that Greg Laden is taking his eponymous blog and moving on over to the Discover network blogs. He must have had a major, major falling out with PZ because I didn't think he would ever leave SciBlogs as long as PZ is here. Seeing as how Ed Yong recently decamped for Discover, could this mean that GL is now Ed Yong's fanboi????

More like this

*urbandictionarys fanboi*
But Laden is obviously a bear, not a twink...

There is no way that dude could keep it quiet. It has to be some other blogger. Somebody mentioned Nisbet on Twitterbook or someplace. That would make a lot of sense.

I happen to know Greg Laden in contexts outside of the blogosphere, and I can confirm that this is true. But it may have been better to let him announce it, don't you think Zuska?

Well, you know Zuska, taking every opportunity to femsplain. No wonder Greg's leaving, since SB is so unsympathetic to the white male viewpoint.

Self-fulfilling, or pathetic? You decide!

It was only a matter of time after Wilkins and Lynch were chased off by the PC crowd. Laden deserves credit for sticking it out as long as he did. This place will be nothing but shoes and shoe puking in a year...mark my words.

This place better not devolve to shoes. I will never read this site again if people start posting about shoes.

Chebaggio, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone stormed out in a huff on this day next year.

I frickin hope it isn't an april fools joke. I use the "last 24 hours" link on science blogs, and I would appreciate not having to see what his opinion is anymore. The whole feminist ally act he puts on is infuriating.

Sorry, Isis's comment with a ping to her blog post got caught in spam filter. I think her post and comments there will make the whole situation clearer...

I don't really see what the big fuss is with blogs moving to different websites, could someone explain it to me?!

The only problem I have with Discover Blogs is that I find it very hard to navigate!
