According to Hill pub Roll Call, former Senator Tom Daschle will be the next HHS Secretary.

No word on the NIH Director yet.

The democratic party is short on leaders and I suppose he's one of the best they've got so I guess it's good he'll be a force in the Obama cabinet but it seems more like back-scratching than anything else to me.
