On August 18, in his interview with Chris Mooney, when he was asked if there were coding errors, Lott replied:

I distinctly recall reading a quote from somebody talking about the debates between Bohr and Einstein, in which Einstein invented ingenious thought experiments to measure two non-commuting observables (position and momentum, or energy and time) and Bohr poked holes in them.
The Pip was sick this weekend, I had a deadline for a bunch of administrative crap that I pushed off back in December when I was rushing to finish the book, and I'm giving an exam on Thursday. So, I'm not doing lengthy blogging right now, but two quick notices:

One of the people who manned our booth down there said it was huge...and fun. I wish I could have been there.

Guess that's 3 in favor and 2 against with a couple sympathy votes. Good enough, Craig, the strikes over.

Oh ok, I guess I'll cut my vacation short to start blogging again.

lol had you didn't I? I just went to the Smithsonian for the first time in my life. Just one word - AWESOME! Although we only got to see the first floor (kids...). I was so stoked for the butterfly exhibit, but never got a chance to go see it. Can't wait to go childless one day. Although I've never seen my 2.25 year old so excited before. Yesterday was the zoo, today the museums. His animal vocabulary has tripled. His favorite was the tigers, mine the giganormous freakin lobster in the invertebrates exhibit at the zoo. Doing the Monuments tomorrow then heading home.
