I had two pages in the May issue of Forskning & Framsteg (Sweden's equivalent av Scientific American) about recent books on the Scandinavian Bronze Age.
I don't read much in Swedish.

My friend Jesper Jerkert has edited a volume of skeptical essays, most culled from Folkvett, the Swedish skeptic quarterly we both help co-edit.

This has always been a very powerful song for me. Tears stream each time I hear it and it motivates me to work harder for peace and justice.
I have played all of Ochs work hundreds of times since the mid-60's. Thank you for posting this (and each of the other powerful messages).

Sad but true: Foxy chickaboos don't stare adoringly at anti-war folk singers anymore.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and cringed a little remembering how awfully naive we all were back then.
