Man, reading about the Apollo 1 fire is really hard. At that time I worked in the Development & Evaluation Lab at Honeywell in Minneapolis testing Apollo control system components. When the news of the fire came we were utterly stunned.

Lot of sad anniversaries at this time of year. Columbia disaster was Feb. 1st too wasn't it?
