This Sunday morning, on Atheist Talk radio, I’ll interview Paul Douglas, America’s favorite meteorologists (at least when the weather is good).
There are few different, related, ways in which climate change, including anthropogenic global warming, can cause extreme weather events. One is that climate zones move. This may result in "normal" weather for a different location occurring elsewhere.

Everyone here is really really glad that the weather changed. I saw the mountains on the other side of the valley for the first time in a week.

Last year winter was a snap - very little snow (I think I had to shovel 3 times) this year it's been quite heavy for Trail and shoveling has been a weekly, if not more frequent, offering to old man Winter. Lots of flights from Vancouver canceled . Diane and I were lucky our flight this past Saturday managed to find a hole in the clouds and land, the earlier morning flight had to turn back.
