Damn, I am having so much fun! Each person that I've met has been like a Christmas present to myself, a delightful surprise, warm, funny, and kind, intelligent and talented .. how much joy can one person experience, walking into a room full of their best friends, only to discover that everyone there truly likes and admires each other and were likewise looking forward to meeting everyone else?

Writing my blog has been one of the best things I've ever done in my life, it was a fabulous accident, really. Writing has always kept me sane when I was going through the rough times, but now, because of my blog, I am a member of this wonderful community of people at ScienceBlogs. For the first time in many many years, I am truly happy that I am alive because this experience and these colleagues of mine at SB have truly been worth living for.

I'm so sorry to be missing you and the rest of the gang but I am incredibly happy to hear how this community has helped to restore your enthusiasm and zest for life. Enjoy!

This is good to read that you're enjoying yourself - your enjoyment drips off the screen. I guess the stressing was worth it.

Excuse me, must go and get a cloth.

Bob

So, did you get involved in the karaoke?
What did you sing?

Nice to know that you are enjoying yourself and having a fun time.

GrrlScientist, you seem a little down. Are you feeling sad? ;)

This is the best news I've had all day!
