I have been digging through my image archives in my gmail account and found some real treasures that my readers sent to me. Unfortunately, I overlooked quite a few images that were sent when I was in the hospital and had poor computer access. So let me fix this oversight during the next few weeks;

The "Mountain" view you brought as an Image of the Day is precious. I can tell neither the name of the mountain nor that of the lake, but its beauty affects me by soothing and calming. Thanks, Grrl!
That's definitely Mt. Rainier - that double peak is distinctive - and I believe the photo was taken from Mirror Lake, on the east side (near Sunrise). This photo from Mirror Lake appears to be taken from practically the same vantage point - notice the position of the three dead snags on the far shore.
