the fish are probably sargent major damselfish, Abudefduf saxatilis,
as portrayed in tiles on the downtown stairway landing of the NYC subway stop (A-B-C)

I'm not sure about the corals. They look like sea fans, but that is a fairly general terms for many soft corals.
I don't think I've ever told you this, but I find this series of photos absolutely breathtaking. I remember the murals and mosaics from my last NYC trip and was curious about them. As one who rarely makes it to the city, I've enjoyed seeing them a lot. You should publish a book or something. I know people would buy it. You could even make t-shirts or mousepads through CafePress and sell them.
The coral is a type of gorgonian (sea fan) but it will be almost impossible to be much more specific than that. I study soft coral taxonomy, and many soft corals cannot be identified to species without looking at sclerites in their tissue.
