Because it is Friday the Thirteenth, a day that the superstitious among you view with abject terror, I thought I'd have a little talk with you about luck. Yes, luck. There are five types of luck, apparently, as documented in this video [0:57].
Oddly, all these types of luck involve vehicles. It makes me wonder if they also invoved alcohol?

This test supposedly predicts your "luck quotient", but I am not sure I believe it. My own results surprised me, especially considering my life these past three years, which has been rather unlucky.

some time ago I made an off-cuff comment to a colleague that he "had been lucky".
He reacted badly to this, and rather curtly told me he resented being told he had been lucky, he had worked for his success and earned it.
It also seems that to be lucky you need to do something stupid first, with the luck being proportional to the stupidity.
So luck only means you get to live? There are many more lucky accidents in life.
