Living the Scientific Life was mentioned in the 9 September 2008 Canberra Times! [larger view].
I am thrilled to tell you that a new reader found my blog through a mention by the Canberra Times! This scanned image was sent to me by that reader who I would like to thank for letting me know about it. Now, if only I could visit every place in the world that my blog is seen and appreciated ..

Misery doesn't love company. Misery loves hope. Unfortunately, those of us in the beleaguered northern hemisphere won't find it in the Land of Oz, where Bush clone John Howard apes the chimp.
Nature Network?

EVERY place your blog is seen and appreciated?!?
Stoke-on-Trent is really nothing to write home about.
don't be so sure about that! Stoke-on-Trent is overseas, afterall, and i love to travel, and i would love to get a job overseas ..
No seriously, Stoke has nothing to offer, least of all good jobs (I'm struggling to even find myself a BAD job).
If I had the money to do so right now, I'd either move back down south, or at least move over to Newcastle-under-Lyme (Stoke's nicer 'twin').
