One last TAM7 request...

Before I close the book on the Science-Based Medicine Conference and TAM7 for 2009, I have a quick request of you, my readers. Specifically, I'd really appreciate it if any of you who were at the SBM Conference and/or TAM7 and took pictures, to send me copies, preferably full resolution. As you might guess, at the SBM Conference I didn't have time to take more than a handful of pictures myself, and obviously I couldn't take pictures of the Anti-Anti-Vax Conference at TAM7 because, well, I was participating in it. The e-mail address is orac@scienceblogs.com.

And thanks to everyone who reads my mental meanderings every day here and elsewhere...

Rerun time is over. Very early Monday morning, a plane touched down, a car drove along a dark and deserted freeway, and my wife and I found ourselves finally back at home. True, we did have a late night diversion to Denny's because we were starving, but by 2 AM or so we were back home. Time to go…
Regular readers will know that über-quack Mike Adams got himself into a bit of a pickle last week. Basically, he wrote a now-infamous post in which he likened scientists working on GMOs to Nazi scientists and pro-science bloggers refuting the sort of nonsensical fear mongering (from a scientific…
Well, it's finally happened. 2009 is now in the dustbin of history. It was a thoroughly awful year, which is why hope springs eternal that 2010 will be better. Given that it would be difficult for 2010 to be worse than 2009, it's a pretty sure bet that it probably will be better, but I never…
I learned with dismay this morning that blogchild Mark Chu-Carroll has decided to leave ScienceBlogs over our management's incredibly bone-headed decision to host a blog written by PepsiCo. Given that Mark's blog was the first (and, as far as I know, only) blog directly inspired by my efforts over…

I regret that I didn't take many pictures, though I took a lot of notes, and am posting summaries of the SBM conference presentations and TAM7 presentations at my blog. So far, I've posted summaries of the first four SBM presentations and hope to finish writing up the SBM conference tomorrow.

I have a bunch of pictures of the anti-anti-vax panel that I'll send your way as soon as I get them transferred over to my computer (so probably sometime this weekend).

SD card was corrupt & we lost all but 2 pics. I've gotten a lot from facebook posts, but the resolution isn't great so I had to beg for a couple of pics myself. Sorry!

I'm sending you 3 from SBM conference: let me know if there are any problems.

From the JREF forum I found some more:

There are some of you on the Anti-anti-vax panel on the "Day 2" of TAM. On "Day 1" there is a photo of the Science Based Medicine panel. Plus there are some really goofy pics of Dr. Novella, and I mean some really goofy looking faces!

By the way, if you go to TAM 8 I promise to stalk responsibly.
