Some douchebag walked off with my computer bag, including my iPod, my computer, and most troublingly, Professor Steve Steve. My heart is filled with rage. Rage and distinct mourning for my lost computer.
If anyone at DragonCon finds a Timbuktu laptop bag with my goddam computer in it, my goddam cards in it, and my goddam iPod in it, the course of action least likely to damage the honor of costumed nerds would be to drop it off at lost and found in the Hilton. No questions asked. Thanks.

Someone will find it.
Josh...I can "feel your pain". It's happened to me a couple of times over the decades. In one instance, I never saw the lost items again. In another, however, I returned home from an out-of-state conference and received a phone call from someone who had found my computer bag and kept it for me. He sent it out (he didn't want to take money for postage) and I sent him a couple of bottles of wine as a thanks.
Fingers crossed. David
Yes, fingers crossed.
Too much to hope that you'll get postcards from Prof Steve Steve from wherever he happens to travel. (Reference ----- thought I had it, but now it's slipped my mind - Audrey Tautou and Amelie?)
What a bummer...
The photo-crew handling the photo-ops at Dragon*Con lost several computers and photo-equipments in a break-in. Including a large number of not-yet-printed shots with the entire BSG cast.
I hope you get your stuff back!
