One particular episode that really stretched the possibilities to a height was one where education was no longer free, and the only way for kids to legally be educated was to pay for education videos for your TV.

A minor plot device in that one was that it was "Skyfall Day", a new carnival centered around all of the companies downing their retired and useless satellites intentionally on the same night every year.
