From the new National Geographic Great Migrations mini-series.

ABC, in a stunningly obvious move, has pulled the plug on a forthcoming Mel Gibson-directed miniseries on the holocaust. No word on whether they will also be cancelling David Duke's series about slavery or Osama Bin Laden's documentary on the evils of religious extremism.
TV on DVD - the opiate of the 21st century - has ruined movies for me. No matter what movie I watch, I can't help but be disappointed when the entertainment ends after just two hours. (And for this I spent $10?) The characters always feel underdeveloped, the plot too superficial.
Oh noes, some morons are planning to create a Atlas Shrugged miniseries!
Gawker does a nice job summing up the story:
From Kristin Montalbano:
I don't get cable TV, so I didn't get to watch it. I intend to watch the clips that I can online.
