You can read the title story of The Turing Test online, and it's well worth checking out. In a dystopian future, Jessica runs a gallery where art increasingly involves human body parts and is designed to shock and appall bystanders.

A buddy and namesake of mine has a father who is a literature scholar. He wrote his thesis on absurdist drama, Beckett and Ionesco, that sort of thing. This influenced his son's vocabulary.
So I guess this belongs under the shameless self-promotion tag - I helped plan the show - but the latest Radio Lab is on a topic near and dear to my frontal cortex.
