I've posted before that I'm a big fan of Garfield Minus Garfield, the alternate reality in which Jon Arbuckle's barely suppressed mental illness is fully revealed. Now we have Garfield: Lost In Translation, in which the dialogue is translated into Japanese and back into English.
Though not as awesome as Garfield Minus Garfield, I still laughed harder at that strip than any of the original Garfields. More here.

Went to Garfield without Garfield...I'm still laffing...and I never did that at any Garfield before. It's kinda cruel, but I can't help it. He does need help
Thanks! That's hilarious.

I have also enjoyed the concept of replacing Garfield with a realistic cat drawing. There aren't too many of these but they're fairly delightful nevertheless.
Garfield minus Garfiels is absolute genius. It's basically the story of a sad lonely man who wanders around talking to himself, this is presumably slightly worse that him talking to his cat...
Very funny. Actually lol-ed and bookmarked...
