Last weekend I participated in an interview via email with DarkSyde, a front page contributor at DailyKos. That interview has just been posted, promising to bring a slew of new folks over here (my last link from there led to a quadrupling of my normal daily hits). So for my regular readers, you might wanna head over there to read the interview. And for all the new DailyKos folks who've not been here before, welcome. This blog is nearly 3 years old, but just moved here a few days ago. To see my previous work, check out my old blog. And thanks for coming.

...liveblogging on DailyKos right now. Go say Hi and ask questions.
Wow, that was a great, great article. Blogs let you develop a mental picture of someone's belief system over a long period of time. Seeing you lay things out in more detail in an interview format helps bring that picture into much sharper focus. A very interesting read, DarkSyde did a good job with the questions and your answers were (as usual) fascinating and well-reasoned.
Big thumbs-up from me.
I'll be honest Ed, I hope your blog doesn't get *too* popular with this move. Seeing this link from DailyKos worries me.
Once comments come too fast and from too many people, a blog loses a sense of community, which is part of what makes it interesting and fun. For example, I used to read Volokh, but I can't anymore for this reason. Phyrangula is not far behind. When a thread hits 150 responses in a few days, I just don't have to time to follow the conversation anymore.
Hey I am one of the new guys. I came from Kos I have been a regular over there for only a few months. I undestand your point oolong, but the blogs and the daily show are the only places to get the "news" anymore. If your choice is be spamed with people on your side or get stepped on by the people on the other side what do you chose? At any rate, nice site, nice interview, you gained a reader. Keep fighting the good fight.
This was a really interesting interview. I especially enjoyed the info re: the ACLU's positions on actual cases involving the free practice of individual worship, and how they are distorted by the religious right.
