New centre for big biology

The Centre for Macroevolution and Macroecology has just started up at the Australian National University. It's an interdisciplinary centre comprising biologists, palaeontologists, philosophers, archaeologists and geologists, researching issues in Geochemistry, Palaeontology, Archaeology, Genomes, Phylogenies, and Biodiversity. Go check them out. Not much on the site yet (they're only having the opening party tonight) but there will be.
