SYDNEY broadcaster Alan Jones' comments before the 2005 Cronulla riots were likely to have encouraged brutality and vilified people of Lebanese and Middle Eastern background, Australia's broadcasting regulator says.

He has issued a reply, in which he tries to suggest that he is the victimised party and that the ACMA is conspiring against him.
I also like this: "My listeners need to understand that no one listening to these broadcasts complained". I wonder what that says about your target audience? I wouldn't call up and complain, because I would probably get abused for not being a bigot.
