I watched part of the movie Punchline last night. I don't know if anyone remembers this movie. I'm guessing Tom Hanks wishes no one does, as it's one of the few really bad movies of his career. It's a movie about stand up comedy that doesn't have a single funny line in it.
This weekend I got to watch the Comedy Central roast of Jeff Foxworthy. As my readers know, I'm a big fan of roasts in general and I'm pleased to see this old tradition from the Friar's Club be revived over the last few years by a younger generation of comics.

I was aired . . . twice, I think. The funniest thing was Trey and Matt's statement (although the actual episode was good, though not as good as the Scott Tennerman episode). I'm just waiting for R Kelly to threaten to pee on the South Park creators for mocking him.

So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!! -- Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants for the overlord Xenu
