I doubt the decline in sales has anything to do with user-generated porn, so much as it does with piracy.

Pirate theft isn't very capitalist, so I'd say the title is still accurate.

There are actually a number of libertarians that don't believe in intellectual property (Stephan Kinsella is one on the right and Kevin Carson is one on the left). I don't have a firm position, but I lean in that direction. I simply don't trust the state enough for it to handle those kinds of issues and I would expect market actors to figure out ways of capturing the value they create under different policy regimes. I'd like to see empirical evidence on the effect of IP on innovation, but there don't seem to be many definitive studies on it.
