I've been doing some political blogging at the Secular Right site for about a week. I have to say that production is way easier when it comes to political blogging, but maintenance is way more exhausting.

This one is for my readers in Oxford. The Oxford Internet Institute is hosting what could be a semi-relevant and interesting talk this Wednesday at noon. Here are the details:
Ophelia Benson has a post up looking at an interview between Benjamin Nelson (a sometime commenter here) and Chris Mooney.
I like to joke that in Kansas, biology is political science. Even when I'm doing job interviews outside of this grand state, people usually get the joke, or need only slight prompting to get it. I take this to be a sad commentary on the state of politics in Kansas.
Ha! Usually that is true. And you get more readers too. My comment rate and readership patterns totally changed during the pre and immediate post election, and even though I wrote something like 300 blog posts in the 30 days before Nov 4th, I only blogged about half of what I had available.

i would disagree with this. in fact, it's a lot easier for me to dismiss the bullshit now that i know more about american history.
Helping forge an alliance between the right and the secular is certainly doing God's work. As it were, anyway. Best of luck, I'm gonna try to send a few readers your way in the weekend roundup tomorrow.
