Who ran in 1860? What do the colours in the 1860 map represent?

Well, green must be Lincoln (Republican). Looks like dark blue is Breckenridge (Southern Democratic), yellowish is Douglas (Northern Democratic), and so I guess the medium-blue is Bell (Constitutional Union). Apparently in South Carolina, the state legislature chose electors so the vote (if any) didn't matter.
This by comparison to the state-level map over at 'kipedia.

I just noticed for the first time that not one county in Oklahama voted for Obama. I'm shocked. Looking back...a few counties in 2000, 1996, and 1992 voted blue, but none in 2008. Is that state really that polarized?

And the northeast is pure Obama. Weird, total polarization.
