This is from Microcosmos, I think. The whole film is worth watching: the mosquito at the end is absolutely entrancing.
I use to work in a group hat included a PhD student who was working on the ecology of dung beetles in Finland. For one project, he wanted samples from all over Finland. So, he contacted a Finnish youth organisation and told them that he wanted beetles from cattle dung, and explained how to get the beetles out and where to send them. As you might guess, he got a good response: after all, what young kid wouldn't want and excuse to play with cow shit.
