I thought I'd mention that I have been invited by SEED to an event in my beloved NYC; The MIND08 Symposium which is held all day on 4 April. This symposium is co-hosted by one of my favorite art museums in the world, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and is held at the Parsons New School for Design in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. I am really looking forward to this and plan to write about this event on my blog for you to enjoy.

This past Friday there was a one-day symposium on the state of academic librarianship at the University of Toronto entitled Academic Librarianship
Sometimes, coincidence is a strange thing indeed.
Right now, I'm sitting in the audience at a symposium on Science, Engineering, and Business at the Leading edge. The symposium is sponsored by the Institute for Systems Biology and it's Lee Hood's 70th birthday. Every speaker is beginning with a wish for a happy birthday.
