Every once in a while I come across a blog and think, "How on earth did I not know about this one before now?" Reason and Liberty is a perfect example. The blog's owner, Steve Sanders, is a 3rd year law student at the University of Michigan, my home state, and he is, like me, a relentless scourge both to the Moral Majority crowd and to the creationists. My profession (teaching) is full of well-meaning, albeit uninformed, liberals. I'm tempted to hastily generalize and say that lawyers are disproportionately libertarian. Am I close?

I don't think lawyers tend to be libertarian more than non-lawyers do, but maybe that's true. I don't actually know all that many lawyers.
