Is this video a deplorable example of cruelty to animals, or an entertaining way of dealing with bushy-tailed vermin?
(It's unquestionably the work of somebody with way too much free time. It's much simpler to just let the dog out back, and let her chase the squirrels out of the yard. Though she might enjoy catapulting them...)

I'm not entirely sure how dangerous that is to the squirrels--depends where it comes down, I suppose. I once saw a squirrel fall about fifty feet & just hop up and run away. Square-cube law effects in scaling really can be a small creature's best friend sometimes ...
That's just disgusting. I couldn't even get beyond the first two launches. It's certainly a good example of what's wrong with people.
