Iâm still here, just still too busy to blog this week. Tuesday was the opening class for my Socratic seminar, Wednesday was the first session of my lecture course (and a faculty meeting). Today, I have a Socratic discussion of Hesiod. So Iâm guessing it will be Friday before I post again.
Iâm a little put out that Turkish anti-evolutionist Harun Yahya has never seen fit to send me a copy of his Atlas of Creation while other folks here at ASU have received one. I thought I was a bigger fish than that!

The math problem was easy for me, but that's because only yesterday I encountered the joke in which a child explains to his father why 8 is the holiest number.
I managed the math problem in under a minute, but that's probably because I have insomnia and have the dumb and cannot brain. But that was completely awesome.
