Inside A Birdhouse

This cute video shows that there's a lot more inside a birdhouse than is evident from the outside. It's a commercial for squash juice. Squash juice? Yes. Apparently some people drink squash juice.

There's two things that bother me about this video. First, pigeons do not sound like owls. Second, bird rock and roll should not sound like humans singing, but should sound like parrots screeching. or something.

That said, I've watched this video dozens of times and was certain I've shown it to you, but repeated searches of my blog have not revealed it, so here it is. At long last, apparently.

Um, I should think Mr. GrrlScientist could have explained that a "squash" in the sense of this advert would be a sweet fruit cordial drink (orange squash would be made with oranges, for instance). No fruits of Curcurbita sp. were harmed in the making of any Robinsons be-natural squash, which (poking around) appears to come in these Orange & Passionfruit, Apple & Strawberry, and Blackcurrant & Pear versions.

At Hogwarts they do have a drink made from pumpkins, which leads me to believe that there could be an, er, *pumpkin squash* bottled by someone.
