Today we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, an environmental "teach-in" first promoted by Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970.
Less than a month now! Dear Aard readers Heather Flowers and Erin Emmerich of the University of Minnesota have invited me to speak there in April. My wife will accompany me and interpret whenever we run into someone who speaks only Mandarin.
I've been sadly slack on content the last few days, but well, it is spring and I'm busy. And tired at the end of the day. And Stoneleigh of The Automatic Earth was visiting. And well...hey, it is 66 degrees, sunny and beautiful.
I've managed to fill up the next three months--and especially April--with a number of speaking engagements, including my first real swing through the Midwest, with talks at Bowling Green (April 5), Michigan State (April 6), and Kalamazoo College (April 7).

Sleeping is waaay overrated.

Well, sleep always seems to be time-wasting uncoscious blur, Roberto, but somehow I stll can't get by without it. I'm ever envious of those who get by on less sleep.
Anyway, this book could just be a good read...We'll see.
